Surfside Beach is a small city of just 763 people, and home to United States congressman Ron Paul, located in Brazoria County, on the Gulf of Mexico, just west of Galveston Island. The mayor of the town is a local surf shop owner of a shop by the name of breaker Sports. Surfside Beach has a total area of 2.2 square miles, 1.8 of those square miles are land. The median age is 42. Available for sale are new homes, waterfront homes, foreclosures, and commercial land.
